Well, hmm. I think it's safe to say I didn't use DW as much as I'd hoped to this year. New year, new goals, and all of that. Here is the first of a couple of end of the year round up stuff! I decided to group things up in a way that made sense to me. First group? 10k humorous and hot PWPs featuring Steve and Bucky in professional settings. :)

~~ As professional musicians (smol!Steve plays violin and Bucky is a harpist) who bang in a minivan! This fic was inspired by my desire to write them banging in a minivan. From that important detail, I worked backwards to determine WHY a minivan is involved. Well, Steve is a violinist who plays weddings, so he needs a last minute musician that's hard to find. With a big instrument. (insert eyebrow waggle here). This was part of the Stucky AU bang, and features art by whatthefoucault. Lucky me!!! ^_^

~~ As professional Youtubers! Ok, so you know how there's all those life hack videos? And some of them are like, WOW, yeah, that's good? And others are like... *blink blink* what. ...Bucky does life hacks of that second variety and it irritates Steve just a little. ^_~ I had so much fun coming up with horrible ideas and enlisted Husband to help as well. Gotta appreciate a partner who'll discuss bad life hacks to facilitate two fictional characters meeting and banging.

The magic of reading is one of my favorite experiences in life and I feel very lucky that I can regularly enjoy the fullness in my heart after reading something, whether it's a beautiful, painful ache or a broken dam of relief or sheer joy and happiness.

I love the sensation of "surfacing" in the real world after being so thoroughly immersed in fiction. Sure, sometimes I come away with a heavy sense of "I'll never be able to recreate that experience through my writing," but most often I just feel ready to go tackle the world.
